Women are increasingly questioning society’s perception of femininity, challenging the status quo by, for example, not shaving their body hair.
However, this has resulted in heavy criticism since it goes against the traditionally established picture of ‘femininity’, as also described by the first definition in Google’s search results. But instead of trying to change modern women, we should change our understanding of the term used to describe them to depict all their diversity correctly, and by embracing their differences, make them feel confident in their bodies.

Gillette, as a pioneer and big player in the depilation industry, would make a huge impact by showing their support to all women alike, including those who have decided to stop shaving, by redefining ‘femininity’ as we know it, and updating their slogan to “whatever we want it to be”, giving women the power to express themselves without society deciding over their own bodies.
